This position is responsible for daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements. The role involves operating production lines, ensuring product adheres to Niagara’s standard of safety, quality, and throughput. It requires accurate completion of quality and production reports, physical and visual inspection of product, and reporting of quality defects. The operator must adhere to safety programs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Food Safety Standards. Responsibilities also include maintaining general housekeeping, ensuring adequate raw material levels to minimize downtime, troubleshooting minor production line issues, and performing relief duties. Regular and predictable attendance is essential, as is the ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.
