About The Position

Novonesis is hiring a Production Operator for its Bottling team in Wausau, Wisconsin. The team helps ensure high-quality probiotic products reach customers safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on operational role supporting the preparation, operation, and upkeep of automated equipment that fills, caps, labels, and cartons probiotic products. The position works with a close-knit production team and directly contributes to safe, efficient, high-quality manufacturing. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 2:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., on second shift. The role is fully onsite in a factory and production environment. Overtime is often available but not required. Hourly pay is $19.00 plus a shift premium.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and write English to understand product specifications and instructions.
Basic understanding of the general mechanical functions of machines.
Ability to stand and/or walk for the majority of a 12-hour shift when required.
Safety-minded and reliable approach to day-to-day work in a production environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or packaging environments.
Familiarity with sanitation or GMP-style processes.
Interest in learning how automated production equipment works.
Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever the team needs support.

Responsibilities

Support setup technicians in preparing machines for operation.
Ensure proper sanitation of machine parts and components.
Understand the role and basic function of each machine in the production process.
Handle raw materials, including probiotic capsules and cardboard shipping boxes.
Assist teammates as needed to keep production running smoothly and safely.
