The employee’s responsibilities include: Set up, tear down and operation of machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. The Production Operator will be responsible for setting up, tearing down, and operating machinery in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work and adhering to safe work practices. This role involves working with beverage manufacturing machinery, performing pre/post operational activities, and demonstrating a positive and professional attitude. The operator must be willing to work in all areas of production, assist with set up and clean up, ensure production requirements and standards are met, and maintain a clean and safe work area. The position requires observing all safety guidelines, working overtime as needed (including weekends), and cooperating with the production team to meet quotas and goals. Additionally, the operator must operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care, assist management with procedures to ensure quality product while seeking cost-cutting ideas, practice HAACP and Good Manufacturing Practices, work effectively in a team, and report any machinery issues to management.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force repeatedly; exert up to 40 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
  • Must be able to be on feet (standing and walking) for 8 -10 hours a day.
  • Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to use logical thinking or solve problems.
  • Follow all written and verbal instructions.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Warehouse experience would be helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, tear down and operation of machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

  • Operate beverage manufacturing machinery and perform necessary pre/post operational activities to ensure proper equipment startup.
