About The Position

Rekluse has an immediate opening for a Production Operator in the Friction Bonding Department in Boise, ID. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 5:30am-1:30pm). Race Winning Brands (RWB) is the leading manufacturer of racing and high-performance parts sold to automotive and powersports markets. RWB is the preferred source for high-end pistons, engine blocks, cylinder heads, intake manifolds, connecting rods, crankshafts, clutches, transmissions, springs and other engine and driveline- related performance components.

Requirements

Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Personal protective equipment is required including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Responsibilities

Assemble and disassemble friction disks into a bonding fixture.
Place pads in a template with appropriate spacing and efficiency.
Bolt and unbolt bonding fixtures with correct torquing procedures.
Precisely cut friction paper with minimal waste using dexterity.
Wash and dry friction blanks in a timely manner to prevent rust.
Gauge the friction blanks to make sure they are within specification.
Sand disks according to procedural specification.
Set up, operation and take down of machinery on the friction bonding line.
Measure disk and adhesive thickness using inspection tools.
Operate a laser to cut friction paper (after proper training is provided).
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
