About The Position

Agri-Mark/McCadam/Cabot Creamery is seeking full-time Production Operators for the third shift at their Cabot, VT plant. This role is responsible for performing all work-related tasks using Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhering to the Food Safety and Food Quality requirements of the SQF program. The operator will communicate and troubleshoot any issues to the production supervisor or team lead, follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and handle problems with professionalism. The position also involves performing basic repairs and adhering to company rules, regulations, and core values. A key aspect of the role is understanding the SQF Practitioner's role in ensuring food safety decisions are made using a risk-based approach, and reporting all food safety issues and incidents to the QA Department. Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Performing all work-related tasks using Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Following the Food Safety and Food Quality requirements of the SQF program.
• Communicating and troubleshooting any issues that arise to the production supervisor or team lead.
• Following all SOPs.
• Handling situations or problems that occur with a high level of professionalism and direction.
• Performing basic repairs.
• Adhering to company rules, regulations, and core values, including the Code of Conduct.
• Reporting all safety issues and incidents to your Supervisor immediately.
• Understanding the role of the SQF Practitioner in ensuring that food safety decisions are made using a risk-based approach.
• Reporting all food safety issues and incidents to the QA Department either directly from the employee or by the Supervisor.

Benefits

• Supplemental pay program for second, third, and weekend shifts.
• Additional pay for hours worked between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am.
• Additional pay for hours worked between Friday at 11:00 pm and Sunday at 11:00 pm.
• Supplemental pay may be stacked.
• Supplemental pay is in addition to current shift differentials but not subject to overtime.
