About The Position

USG is seeking a Production Operator for their quarry operations. This role involves operating heavy equipment in the mining of gypsum, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires adaptability to scheduling, including potential shiftwork and overtime. Requirements

Able to operate assigned mobile equipment in a safe manner.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment.
Team player, good communication skills needed with all co-workers.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Nice To Haves

Some prior experience operating off-road equipment is preferred.
CDL a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within an industrial quarry/mine setting.
Operate multiple pieces of off-road heavy equipment in the process of mining gypsum.
Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure equipment performance.
Record production data and other results as required.
Take an active role in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Adapt to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, and working weekends.
