About The Position

At Rea Magnet Wire, we don’t just produce magnet wire – we are POWERING WHAT'S NEXT. If you’re experienced in operating safely, quality production, and driving process improvements, we want you on our team! This role is responsible for all aspects of producing Aluminum Polymer Coated Magnet Wire safely and efficiently, including staging, set up, testing, packaging, documentation, and ensuring the integrity of the equipment and infrastructure used in the process.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 3 years of recent manufacturing/warehouse experience and a total of 5 years of related experience in total.
Knowledge of safety, distribution, and manufacturing best practices.
High level of mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with basic hand tools and measuring devices, verified through work history and references.

Preference for candidates with a strong work ethic, reliability, and a demonstrated commitment to professional growth in a manufacturing setting.
Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow Production Orders, ISO Work Instructions, Safe Work Instructions, and other production documents.
Perform routine preventative machine maintenance.
Select and stage proper supplies and feedstock; string up machines; set machines and controls for proper operation.
Continuously monitor production to ensure the product meets specifications.
Maintain optimal efficiency and productivity and minimal scrap.
Perform start-up and periodic quality testing.
Maintain safe machine operation.
Maintain production records.
Safely load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping and maintenance throughout the facility.
