About The Position

The UV Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the UV systems to ensure the safety and quality of beverages produced in the plant. This role involves monitoring UV equipment, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards. The schedule for this position is Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM. Training will occur during the 2nd shift, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; further technical or vocational training preferred.
Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
2+ Years of warehouse/manufacturing experience
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards for food and beverage manufacturing (GMP’s)
Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and reporting.
Ability to communicate, read, listen, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual is a plus.
Forklift experience a plus

Responsibilities

Operate UV disinfection systems and ensure they function correctly, efficiently, and safely.
Monitor operational parameters such as UV intensity, flow rates, and water quality.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of UV equipment to prevent downtime.
Maintain accurate records of UV system performance and any maintenance activities.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Participate in safety trainings and drills to maintain a safe working environment.
Comply with all environmental regulations and company policies regarding beverage safety and quality.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet industry standards.
Perform NetSuite system transfers, data entry, and reporting.
Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines when in the plant.
Regular and reliable attendance.
