About The Position

The Production Operator (Palletizer) is responsible for ensuring their assigned areas are clean, organized, and operating under discipline. They must operate according to standard operating procedures, maintain hygiene standards with limited water usage, and ensure effective handovers between shifts. The role drives the production process to meet customer specifications, quality, and food safety standards, while ensuring targeted outputs are met through effective control of the manufacturing process. Communication with the entire team, adherence to health and safety requirements, and promotion of a positive safety culture are crucial. The position also involves representing The Froneri Way of working through behaviors and characteristics aligned with the Operating Model and Core Values, promoting a culture of employee ownership, and applying the principle of "will I do this to my home?" Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • One-year related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective hand over with the next shift.

  • Communicate effectively with the entire team.
  • Ensure health and safety requirements are fully met and a positive safety culture is maintained throughout the line.
  • Represent The Froneri Way of working through behaviors and characteristics in our Operating Model and Core Values.
  • Walk the talk always using the looking eyes, attend to the issues as and when they happen.
  • Promote the Froneri culture of employees being owners rather than just employees.
  • Follow the principle of “will I do this to my home?”
  • Other duties as assigned.
