About The Position

Operation Team Coordinators are a critical part of our operations. In addition to running production, this position will be responsible for training associates, assisting in troubleshooting and assisting others in maintaining a safe environment while making quality products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. Preferred
  • Intermediate computer usage skills, ability to use Microsoft Office product and general data entry programs
  • 3 Years Compounding Experience
  • Qualified for a minimum of 2 production operator Skill areas
  • Demonstrated safe work habits
  • Ability to perform multiple job functions and the ability and willingness to learn
  • Helpful to co-workers, good work ethic, respectful to others and leads by example
  • Good attendance
  • Quality minded - as demonstrated on performance evaluations
  • Willingness / flexibility to work overtime or change their work schedule as needed
  • Maintains acceptable housekeeping standards - as demonstrated on performance evaluation
  • Productivity minded – as demonstrated on performance evaluation
  • Coaching/Mentoring Skills
  • Problem Solving Ability

Responsibilities

  • Promote Safety as our highest priority. Communicate and support compliance to safety policies, conducting daily safety talks, participate in safety audits and projects
  • Responsible for relieving team members as needed for lunches, breaks, absences, and other reasons as required ensure continued production.
  • Conducting daily safety messages, participate in department safety audits, interact daily with team members to encourage safe work practices
  • Working with Scheduler and Supervisor in assignment of work daily
  • Managing time and production records
  • Addressing safety, quality, production or personnel concerns to the attention of supervision
  • Train new employees and assist with cross-training of current employees.
  • Assist with orientation and onboarding of new hires.
  • Assist Operators with start-ups, change overs, and troubleshooting
  • Identify and help implement improvement opportunities in safety, quality and productivity
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects as assigned
  • Support Housekeeping and 5S within department
