Production Operator - Masking 1st shift

About The Position

This role is responsible for applying dymax internal fill with powder, mixing materials, and masking part surfaces using approved materials. The operator will also be responsible for masking parts and curing material as outlined, trimming excess materials, and patching masking. A key part of the role involves visually inspecting masking for accuracy and cleanliness, and accurately documenting travelers and logbooks. The operator will track hourly performance, ensure compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements, and adhere to all Company safety standards. Maintaining, implementing, and improving 5-S Principles, following Lean Manufacturing principles, and adhering to Corporate Values and Code of Ethical Standards are also essential.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak English
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Ability to follow written/oral directions and instructions
• Ability to accurately interpret technique sheets and diagrams
• Ability to sit and or stand for long period of time
• Mechanical skills good eye hand coordination and dexterity
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to openly receive constructive feedback willingness to accept and drive change
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment and or can react to changing priorities
• Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability
• Good communication skills
• Basic Math skills, add, subtract, divide, multiply
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Applying dymax Internal fill with powder
• Mixing materials T64, C1, C2 and CMC
• Masking part surfaces using approved materials
• Mask parts and cure material as outlined
• Trim, excess materials
• Patch masking
• Visually inspects masking for accuracy and cleanliness
• Correctly document travelers after operations have been performed
• Accurately document and maintain/document logbooks
• Track hourly performance (pitch)
• Ensures compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements
• Adheres to all Company safety standards and requirements
• Maintain, implement, and improve 5-S Principles
• Follow and utilize Lean Manufacturing principles
• Adhere to and promote Corporate Values and Code of Ethical Standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
