NH-Production Operator / Manufacturing Associate
About The Position
A & Associates is seeking motivated and dependable Production Operators / Manufacturing Associates for manufacturing opportunities in Somersworth, New Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work and want to be part of a production team focused on safety, quality and productivity. Production Operators help operate and monitor manufacturing processes, inspect products for quality, follow established production procedures and keep assigned work areas running safely and efficiently. Previous manufacturing experience is helpful, but candidates with a strong work ethic, dependable attendance and willingness to learn may also be considered.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, machine-operation, warehouse or industrial experience is preferred.
- Entry-level candidates who demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn may also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor assigned production equipment and workstations
- Perform equipment and workstation setup according to established procedures
- Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions and production specifications
- Monitor manufacturing processes for proper operation
- Inspect materials, components and finished products for quality
- Identify and report defects, equipment issues or production concerns
- Follow established production schedules and priorities
- Properly identify and label materials, work-in-process and finished products
- Complete required production documentation
- Perform basic computer or production-system data entry as required
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized workstation
- Follow established housekeeping and 5S practices
- Follow required PPE, safety and quality procedures
- Communicate equipment, production, quality and safety concerns to appropriate personnel
- Work cooperatively with production, quality, material-handling and leadership teams
- Cross-train on additional production processes or workstations as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
