About The Position

CraftMark Bakery is an innovative and highly automated commercial bakery looking for TOP TALENT to join a growing company with a temperature-controlled environment and a GREAT culture! The Production Operator Level 2 role, which includes Ingredient Handler and Packer responsibilities, offers an outstanding starting wage of $18.00 per hour, with potential increases after review. This role contributes to all phases of the production process, including operating automated production equipment, preliminary diagnosis of equipment issues, assisting with preventive maintenance, and packaging the final product. Incumbents are expected to demonstrate competency in making production decisions regarding the pre-flight and operation of equipment. Flexibility to rotate job assignments throughout production is required, and variable work schedules are in place.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English to ensure effective training, coaching and safety
• Capable of working on a computer and navigating through multiple screens
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to stand up to 12 hours daily

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years related food production experience preferred
• Experience operating PLC controlled equipment desired

Responsibilities

• Ensure that machinery is running properly
• Maintain quality standards
• Comply with GMPs
• Partner with team members to maintain consistent line operation
• Input required information into the ERP system
• Report mechanical problems to supervisor and Maintenance
• Work safely
• Maintain up to date knowledge of machinery in assigned work area
• Keep work are clean and without debris
• Other duties as assigned
