About The Position

Performs a variety of medical assembly and processing tasks as a production team member. This role involves assembling medical products on an assembly operation, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis. The operator will perform on-line and in-process visual inspection of products to ensure specifications per work order and procedure are followed. They will also assist Team Leaders and Technicians with product and/or machine change-overs, ensuring that assembled products meet quality standards and rejecting any product outside of specifications. Adherence to safety standards is crucial. The role may involve operating a variety of testing equipment for periodic product and process testing. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English, Spanish or meet local language requirement.
  • Demonstrates competencies and ability to rotate in a specific assembly line or work cell.
  • Ability to perform a variety of assembly tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly.
  • Ability to follow instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
  • Attentiveness in performing tasks.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team in assembling sterile medical products.
  • Ability to meet line rate expectations.

Nice To Haves

  • Three months of experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Three to six months of longevity in the same company.
  • At the Corporate site, if the position is on a Spanish-language line, it is preferred that the individual be Spanish speaking or bilingual (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities
