Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2 - 4 years' related experience.
  • Previous knowledge of warehouse operations is required.
  • Team player with organizational skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Fork-lift certification.

Responsibilities

  • Control inventories through all processes.
  • Operate within SAP and Info Link systems using hand-held scanners and truck mounts.
  • Perform loading, unloading, storing, and preparing shipments (inner company, sales orders, international, and domestic).
  • Verify quantity and condition of inbound and outbound shipments, noting shortages.
  • Endorse Bill of Lading to release carrier liability with exceptions noted.
  • Sort and re-stack pallets to assist Quality Systems with vendor lot numbers, Laminator Flow, freight, and warehouse damage.
  • Deliver requisitioned material to appropriate departments and verify quantities.
  • Check bin status and storage types.
  • Perform self-Quality Check processes to ensure orders are pulled correctly and completely.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy at the bin level.
  • Pull Quality Systems (QS) samples in accordance with SOP prior to release and record on the quarantine control card.
  • Complete MM verification of physical quantity on the Lot Accountability Form (LAF).
  • Process incoming/outgoing material to the proper location using Automatic Data Collection (ADC) equipment.
  • Ensure all transfer paperwork is complete and post Transfer Orders.
  • Note breakdown of quantities, verify product code and lot number.
  • Perform stock rotation (first in, first out).
  • Create stock replenishment requests.
  • Operate material handling equipment and Forklifts.
  • Perform Info Link Warehouse Fleet Management Pre-trip Inspection.
  • Assist in loading/unloading production support trucks.
  • Pull components required for Production orders according to established procedures.
  • Use proper safety equipment.
  • Scrap material in accordance with NC's, MADR's, and freight claims.
  • Remove and destroy any damaged finished good product.
  • Pull Ethylene Oxide (EO) Quality samples for testing and evaluation.
  • Complete additional discard and sample requests in accordance with SOP procedure.
  • Maintain all assigned material handling equipment in good condition to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Operate any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently according to proper procedures.
  • Ensure a clean, neat, and orderly work area; clean and maintain supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA, and SDS standards.
  • Provide assistance to other warehouse associates as directed by the Lead.
  • Escalate issues to the Lead for resolution as deemed necessary.
  • Assist with various projects as assigned by the Lead.
  • Assist in training newly assigned warehouse associates.
  • Perform additional responsibilities focusing on one or more departments or locations as per applicable addendum.
