The Production Operator II for Cytiva is responsible for operation of various machines within the Intercompany value streams. This position is part of the Intercompany Department located in Hauppauge, New York and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. This is a 2nd Shift role with a shift schedule of M-F 2:30PM-11PM

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • minimum 2 years of Manufacturing Experience
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics
  • ability to read, comprehend, and follow written work instructions in English
  • working knowledge of computers and Microsoft OS
  • ability to use basic measuring equipment (rulers, calipers, etc…)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively

Nice To Haves

  • previous experience in Working in a clean room environment, where gowns and PPE must be worn for extended periods.
  • Standing in your position for 8 hours/day and perform focused tasks in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing equipment and monitor production processes to support safe, efficient, and continuous operations while ensuring adherence to established production specifications, quality standards, and process controls.
  • Perform manufacturing activities in accordance with approved procedures and specifications, including engineering drawings, work orders, SOPs, and other written or verbal instructions, while maintaining accurate and compliant production documentation.
  • Support quality, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts by identifying and escalating process, equipment, or quality issues in a timely manner, assisting in troubleshooting activities, and contributing ideas that improve operational efficiency, reduce scrap, and minimize downtime.
