The Production Operator II is responsible for instrument assembly and calibration setup/operation in a continuous production/processing manufacturing facility. This role requires teamwork with peers, collaboration with technicians and engineers, and communication skills with operators, technical support, and management. This position reports to the Operations Manager and is part of the Beckman Coulter Life Science Loveland Operations team located in Loveland, CO, and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Following engineering drawings, work order information, manufacturing assembly procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment.

Requirements

  • High school/GED equivalent
  • 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing and assembly desired
  • Must be computer literate
  • Basic math skills required
  • Ability to read and understand complex instructions and work from a schedule
  • Demonstrate adherence to scheduled start times and reliable attendance on all scheduled work days
  • Able to lift to 40 lbs
  • Manual dexterity with fine motor stills with both arms/hands
  • Able to stand and/or sit for an 8-hour work shift
