About The Position

The Production Operator I runs machinery, loads and packages products and moves materials as needed. The role includes performing quality checks, reporting equipment or material issues, and working with cross functional trams to resolve issues related to production. The Production Operator I follows all SOP & safety guidelines, completes routine equipment cleaning and records data accurately in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0–2 years of experience working in manufacturing.
  • Ability to use a hand pallet jack to transport pallets containing product.
  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Able to read and follow written work instructions.
  • Proficient in basic math skills, including counting and utilizing a calculator.
  • Familiarity with basic computer operations.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Capable of working individually and collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and able to meet fluctuating demands.

Nice To Haves

  • Willingness to work occasional overtime, including weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate assembly, labeling, filling or blister machines.
  • Load containers onto pallets, and package and palletize finished goods.
  • Perform quality control checks on raw materials and finished goods.
  • Report concerns related to machinery, material quality, or finished goods to appropriate personnel
  • Collaborate with other team members, , to optimize production processes and address any issues that arise.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on equipment to keep equipment running properly.
  • Record and track production, usage of raw materials, and work hours using a computer.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear designated personal protection equipment (PPE) as required.
