About The Position

The candidate will work on a designated team/assignment, performing production activities that may vary between working on a semi-automated machine line, a manual carton packing line, or other production support roles. Most tasks will require collaboration with multiple teammates. This position is for a first shift operator (Hours: 6:00am to 2:30pm). The role involves performing directed activities in the Raw Material Preparation department to complete the inspection, staging, and manufacture of Serum, Urine, and Blood based intermediates. Production activities include processing of biological materials, operating and monitoring equipment under varying conditions, adjusting equipment controls, calculating concentrations, dilutions, and yields, adhering to PPE procedures, aseptic filtering, and filing procedures. The operator will maintain a safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and standard operating procedures. Documentation of production is required, including completing forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batches. The role also includes performing basic instrument operation and maintenance, assisting in troubleshooting instruments/equipment or reagents issues, coordinating support operations, and assisting with routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Reviewing maintenance and/or equipment specific procedures is also part of the responsibilities. Utilizing software applications like Microsoft and SAP for completing compliance training and manufacturing is necessary.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Entry level experience.
  • Basic math, writing/reading skills.
  • Goal oriented team contributor.
  • Must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Responsibilities
