About The Position

Join our team and produce products that save and enhance lives. This role is responsible for conducting daily inspections of molded products produced by machines and overseeing secondary operations to verify that products meet customer requirements. The starting rate is $17.75 - $21.50 per hour, depending upon experience, with a $0.75 per hour shift differential for the 1st shift (6:30 am - 3:00 pm). Additional bonuses and on-demand pay options are available.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English, or the ability to be trained to perform the duties without a translator.
Competence in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Capability to understand and follow various instructions provided in written, oral, or blueprint formats.
Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and good vision.
Ability to operate machinery independently without supervision.
Proficiency in performing visual and dimensional inspections without supervision.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily inspections of molded products produced by machines.
Oversee secondary operations to verify that products meet customer requirements.
Clean and trim products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Produce and/or provide secondary operations assembly of injection-molded parts.
Use various measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc., as needed to ensure precision.
Utilize various hand tools including microscopes, clippers, knives, blades, degating fixtures, tweezers, screwdrivers, flat heads, hand drills, hammers, etc., as needed for assembly and inspection tasks.
Run all types of jobs and machines efficiently and accurately.
Perform inspections on all jobs, including insert type jobs (such as gold bodies), to ensure product quality.
Learn and use IQMS software as it applies to job functions.
Work to promote quality and safety in all aspects of the job.
Ensure the highest possible product quality and adherence to ISO and/or other standards.
Be available for overtime as needed on a project-by-project basis.
Perform other job duties and/or responsibilities as assigned by management.
Report to scheduled shift on time and work entire shift.
