About The Position
Airgas is hiring for a Loader 2nd Shift in Grand Prairie, TX. This role involves driving a forklift to move products and compressed gas cylinders, sorting cylinders, delivering empty pallets, and loading/unloading delivery trucks. Requirements
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator’s license.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds, and occasionally move up to 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
- Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
- Must be able to read and comprehend all written and computer generated documentation.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of forklift experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, compressed gas cylinders, and other materials to load route delivery trucks.
- Sort compressed gas cylinders to ensure proper segregation.
- Deliver empty pallets of cylinders to the plant for filling.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
