Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience at one company
  • High School diploma or equivalent, or evidence of exceptional ability
  • Flexible work availability and comfortable with overtime as needed
  • Open minded to working in an assigned production department
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Ability to use basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying and basic division)
  • Must be reliable, have good initiative, committed, and quality focused
  • Ability to perform repetitive duties while standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 20-50 lbs on a daily basis
  • Ability to maintain a safe working environment
  • Cooperate and function in a team based environment

Responsibilities

  • Work on production and/or repack services
  • Operate a ForkTruck as required
  • Perform assembly work
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and machinery
  • Perform troubleshooting and rework, requiring an understanding of the functional operation of assembled items and the finished product
  • Work from complex and detailed manufacturing documentation and/or verbal and written instructions and specialized fixtures/test equipment
  • Perform quality activities, including self-inspection, and stop scrap activities
  • Update production records and test results
  • Communicate problems to appropriate personnel
  • Identify discrepant materials/components both in writing and verbally to supervisor
  • Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and within standard times
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Develop versatility and competence in all related job tasks and operations
  • Wear all necessary PPE
  • Operate handheld technology and utilize basic computer skills
  • Work within a limited climate control environment
