About The Position

This position reports to the Production Supervisor. The work model for the role is Onsite in Mebane, NC. The role involves conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing where integrated with production lines. Performing work manually or by using light hand tools. Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process. Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
• Handle materials that may produce dust, fumes, or vapors requiring respiratory protection.
• Wear and maintain assigned personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and masks.
• Participate in fit testing and medical evaluations as required for respirator use.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
