About The Position

In Wausau, our Encapsulation team plays a critical role in producing high‑quality probiotic products that support this purpose. The team operates and maintains specialized encapsulation equipment, working with care, precision, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. While the role is primarily independent, collaboration and support across the team are key to meeting production goals and ensuring consistent results. As a Production Operator – Encapsulation (2nd Shift), you will be responsible for operating encapsulation equipment to produce products that meet Novonesis’ quality and safety standards. Your work directly contributes to reliable manufacturing outcomes and ensures our products are produced accurately, safely, and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow production journals and procedures
  • A strong focus on safety and quality
  • Reliability and the ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP

Responsibilities

  • Operating encapsulation equipment efficiently and according to established procedures
  • Setting up, disassembling, adjusting, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment
  • Accurately completing batch records, production journals, and equipment logs
  • Verifying lot and batch numbers and ensuring correct labeling of products
  • Ensuring product quality and escalating issues when standards are not met
  • Assisting other team members in trained areas as production needs require
