About The Position

An Electrical Test Operator will operate multiple flying probe machines that test printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electrical defects. The electrical test department is also responsible for TDR and High Potential Leakage (HiPot) testing. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Ability to stand for the duration of shift.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, customer specifications, and procedures.
Basic math, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and computer skills.
Must possess interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills.
Follow all safety measures.
Must be able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.
Recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation.
Understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL).
Understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US.
Manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Previous PCB experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Gather necessary information and testing parameters for production.
Enter information and test parameters into manufacturing equipment/system.
Operate machines that test boards for electrical defects, including start-up and operation.
Set up jobs.
De-bug defects and identify potential scrap codes for defects.
Identify passing and failing parts.
Stamp printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Retrieve programs from back up.
Complete self-correction sheets.
Find defects such as continuity (opens) and isolations (shorts).
Complete test and associated test certificates.
Follow all departmental process procedures correctly.
Complete all departmental documentation accurately.
Complete quality checks when product arrives in and exits the department.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management and cross-train as needed to assist production.
Comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC.
