About The Position
The employee will be responsible for visually inspecting cast ring for conformance to job order and quality standards.
Requirements
- Able to read a limited number of two or three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
- Ability to speak and write simple sentences.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
- Ability to multitask
- Must have working knowledge of QC inspection operation.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect cast rings against job order for correct date, degree, name, school spellout, shank detail, trademark and monogram.
- Inspect for quality of metal fillout
- Maintains ring tally and notes of Issues and feed back to wax for inspection of molds
- keeping and identification codes regarding disposition of each wax pattern reject
- Operate as400 and movement of orders.
