The Production Operator 2 performs various functions related to the fabrication of contact lenses using appropriate machines and equipment, following established guidelines and approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role operates in a repetitive team manufacturing environment, receiving direction from Production Coordinators and/or Technicians. It is an experienced-level position designed to allow the employee to become familiar with the advanced, quality-critical stages of manufacturing contact lenses, demonstrating an interest and competency for future advancement.
