About The Position

Seaboard Triumph Foods, LLC is seeking a Production Operations Supervisor in Sioux City, Iowa who will supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees to ensure that operations meet established safety, quality, and productivity standards. This role involves managing daily production operations by planning, assigning, and monitoring work schedules, staffing levels, and workflow to meet operational and business objectives. The supervisor will also train and evaluate employees to ensure compliance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and food safety and quality regulations. Additionally, they will maintain and enforce sanitation, safety, and quality control programs, including HACCP and USDA standards. The position oversees the setup, operation, and routine maintenance of production machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations. Identifying and resolving production, quality, or equipment issues by coordinating with maintenance, engineering, and technical teams to implement corrective actions is also a key responsibility. The supervisor will analyze production data, performance metrics, and operational reports to recommend process, staffing, or workflow improvements that increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce waste. Maintaining accurate production records and management reports, and promoting effective communication, accountability, and teamwork within the department are also expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Quality Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or closely related field.
  • One (1) year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • One (1) year supervising or leading production employees.
  • One (1) year coordinating daily operations to meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
