About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space, and Security has an opportunity for an Associate or Mid-Level Production Operations Specialist to be part of our Advanced Vertical Lift team supporting the Apache AH-64 in Mesa, AZ. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. This position is for a variable shift. The selected candidate may be asked to work first or second to support the operations need. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Requirements

Must be willing to work any shift
3 or more years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
3 or more years of experience in aircraft manufacturing working with assembly processes and procedures
3 or more years of experience reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements manufacturing processes.
Provides concurrent engineering support.
Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope.
Reviews and approves technical documents.
Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast.
Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation.
Leads projects and participates in technical research on proposed projects.
Serves as primary interface with internal customers.
Translates data into actionable plan for implementation within the organization.
Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action.
