About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-level Production Operations Specialist to join the team in Ridley Park, PA! This role involves assisting the Senior Cost Account Manager by analyzing cost, schedule, and EAC metrics, with a focus on earned value and variance analyses. The specialist will be responsible for EAC development and maintenance for the Build Team, supporting manufacturing operational decisions and providing advice on enhancing Earned Value Management. They will also generate and process Change Documents (CDs) to request budget and/or EAC due to contractual scope growth and/or work movement, and assist with the generation of Basic Factory Labor estimates for new contract proposals. The role includes supporting the Engineering Change Control Board (ECCB) and Tool Design Reviews as the Build Team Representative, updating and distributing monthly Operations EVM metrics, and regularly interacting with senior and executive leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the program. Significant interface with Program Managers, Contracts, Senior Technical Personnel, and other organizations is expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business related discipline or Industrial Engineering
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience in baseline budget distribution and Cost Account Structure management
  • Experience generating and or managing Estimate at Completion (EAC)
  • Experience generating and or managing Risks, Issues, and Opportunities (RIO)
  • Prior CAM support experience

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate or Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years related work experience
  • Experience with Finance systems (CSPR, PMAS, ECDA, CLAS, etc)
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities
