Requirements

  • 5+ years in Manufacturing Operations, Production Management, or Quality Engineering within high-volume or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong familiarity with MES implementations, shop-floor data automation, and digital tracking.
  • BSc/MSc in Engineering.
  • Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, root-cause analysis and PPS (e.g., 5 Whys, 8D), and KPI dashboard design.
  • Strong assertiveness and stakeholder management skills; ability to comfortably navigate and drive accountability within a third-party supplier's facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within aerospace sector and electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support and evaluate supplier’s KPI plan definition. Implement KPI plan to measure line efficiency, quality, and output.
  • Maintain a permanent physical presence on the production floor to monitor processes, ensuring the production line adheres to agreed-upon operational and quality standards (a.o. ISO9001).
  • Identify real-time production bottlenecks or quality deviations and immediately drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with the local plant/supplier and Airbus NL teams.
  • Collaborate directly with and support the current Program Manager in driving overall project coordination, maintaining a master overview of parallel development and production activities and tracking cross-functional interdependencies; and act as the operational bridge during the site’s transition to the MES (Manufacturing Execution System), ensuring shop-floor data collection aligns with the new digital framework.
  • Create and maintain daily/weekly operational dashboards, in support to Airbus NL’s supplier, to report performance metrics, deviations, and remediation status directly to Airbus NL management.
