About The Position

The Experienced Production Operations Specialist will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. In this role, you will define production activities, resolve issues of limited scope, investigate product defects and production inefficiencies, and develop solutions to reduce or mitigate recurrence. You will also review and approve technical documents, analyze charging trends, support staffing forecasts, and assist with capital expenditure and equipment implementation activities. This position serves as a primary interface with internal customers, translating data into actionable plans for implementation within the organization. The ideal candidate will lead projects, participate in research efforts related to proposed initiatives, and compile management status reports for corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing and implementing process improvement initiatives in manufacturing or production processes
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing data, identifying issues and making recommendations for improvements associated with a value stream that resulted in change and improved business position
  • Ability to investigate, define, and resolve complex issues using methodical approach to issue definition and resolution
  • Experience communicating technical details clearly and concisely with customers and cross functional teams
  • Experience in project management for small and large projects
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
