About The Position

Gossner Foods is a growing family business with over 120 years of cheese-making expertise, cutting-edge equipment, and a passionate team, making us a leader in the dairy industry. We produce over 30 varieties of cheese and offer delicious UHT shelf-stable milk. We are seeking a Production Medium Rover to join our team. This role involves reading pallet sheets, applying labels, stacking pallets, operating a pallet jack, and preparing product for repackaging. The ideal candidate will strictly adhere to company GMP policy, food safety, quality policies, and sanitation procedures. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks as pushing, pulling, lifting, grabbing, and moving of product.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Should have the capability to occasionally relocate the trim crates, which typically weigh around 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Reads pallet sheets and understands which products are coming up for packaging.
• Applies labels to packages and boxes correctly.
• Understands where to check for correct labeling and coding for each product.
• Stacks pallets neatly and correctly.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, grabbing, and moving of product.
• Operates a pallet jack safely and effectively.
• Works in a fast-paced environment.
• Opens rejected product and prepares product for repackaging.
• Strictly adheres and enforces the company GMP policy, food safety, quality policies and sanitation procedures.
• Helps with breaks.
• Occasionally relocates trim crates, which typically weigh around 50 pounds.
• Removes product from shipping boxes and product tubes.
