About The Position

The Production Mechanic plays a critical role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production machinery and equipment. This position involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and fabrication tasks to support the continuous flow of production and maintain equipment reliability. The Production Mechanic is a skilled technician responsible for minimizing downtime and contributing to overall production efficiency.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical disciplines is a plus.
Mechanically inclined with high mechanical aptitude.
Proven experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing or production environment.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Ability to effectively use computers and technology.
