About The Position

DMI Companies is seeking a reliable Mechanic to support operations at our Monongahela, PA facility. This position is responsible for repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and helping maintain safe and efficient operations throughout the plant.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to repair, replace, and install mechanical components
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and install replacement parts
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
• Follow direction from Crew Leaders and Maintenance Manager
• Assist with repair planning, parts selection, and labor estimates
• Maintain service records and provide progress updates
• Align equipment, repair small motors, and work with 110V systems
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow Lockout/Tagout procedures
