About The Position

As a Production & Materials Planning Specialist, you will perform good receipts of inbound raw material orders and indirect orders, coordinate raw material returns, and create and manage indirect material orders for production. You will also provide backup to MRO when needed. This role requires basic knowledge of SAP transactions, internal procedures, and Zycus. This position is located in North, PA.

Requirements

  • Experience as the primary point of contact for raw material receiving and SAP booking activities.
  • Experience in raw material return management.
  • Experience in indirect production material procurement.
  • Experience in backup MRO purchasing support and purchasing continuity coverage.
  • Experience in receipts and inbounds.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple activities and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) between Tastepoint North and Tastepoint South to ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, and uninterrupted production operations across both sites and the Distribution center.
  • Perform SAP goods receipt transactions (MIGO) and manage the receipt and inventory accuracy of all raw materials for Tastepoint North while following Kosher processes.
  • Perform Zycus goods receipt transactions for indirect materials received.
  • Coordinate and process raw material returns, supplier returns, and inventory adjustments as required.
  • Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for production supplies, and approved equipment purchases in accordance with company procurement procedures.
  • Provide backup coverage for MRO purchasing activities, including creation of purchase requisitions, supplier communications, expediting orders, and tracking deliveries.
  • Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve material shortages, delivery issues, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count, reconciliation, and audit activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, material flow, purchasing efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Utilize SAP, Zycus and other business systems to maintain planning, purchasing, and inventory records.
