About The Position

The Production Material Handler transports raw materials, product components, finished goods, and other designated items to assigned locations. The role ensures material movements follow current procedures for proper identification, fit, form, and function; accurately stages production jobs, completes paperwork, and supplies presses with correct materials; investigates inventory accuracies; and restacks finished goods. The employee must work safely and efficiently using required personal protective and safety equipment and devices, following STW documentation or proper training techniques when documentation is unavailable. The position also participates in and promotes Continuous Improvement, 5S, and STW activities, and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, product components, finished goods, and other designated items.
• Move materials and finished goods to their assigned locations.
• Ensure material movements follow current procedures for proper identification, fit, form, and function.
• Accurately stage and conduct production jobs, complete paperwork, and supply presses with the correct materials.
• Investigate inventory accuracies.
• Restack finished goods.
• Work safely and efficiently using all required personal protective equipment, safety equipment, and devices, and follow STW documentation or proper training techniques when documentation is unavailable.
• Participate in, promote, and sustain Continuous Improvement, 5S, and STW activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
