About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Production Material Handler I is responsible for handling, moving, and maintaining the flow of materials and products within manufacturing and production areas. This role ensures materials are accurately received, stored, issued, and distributed according to established guidelines and operational procedures. The position follows clearly defined instructions and routine processes, requiring basic technical understanding and the ability to perform manual and structured tasks with minimal decision-making.

Requirements

  • No prior experience required (entry-level role)
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing or warehouse environments is an advantage
  • Physically able to lift, move, and transport materials as required by the role
  • Willingness to work in a production or industrial setting
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability

Responsibilities

  • Handle and maintain the movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods within production and warehouse areas
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against documentation
  • Prepare materials for delivery to production lines based on schedule and requirements
  • Move materials using manual handling methods and/or motorized equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified)
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials in designated areas
  • Record and document material movements accurately for inventory tracking and reporting
  • Assist in cycle counts and basic inventory checks as required
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Support production teams by ensuring timely availability of required materials
