About The Position

Vestis is hiring part-time production team members. This role performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. The primary responsibility is the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility, specifically involving mat rolling. Requirements

Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
Working knowledge of basic math skills.
Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet attendance schedule.

High school degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Performing a mat rolling by machine, by hand on inverted table, or stacking on pallet.
Staging cage of mats near table or into lift table if using mat rolling machine.
Placing mat rubber side up to manually roll mat, or stepping on foot pedal to roll using machine.
Monitoring for quality while rolling and identifying and segregating mats that do not meet quality requirements in terms of stains, gum stains, rips, tears, holes, or if wet.
Accurately verifying mat by size, color, and type, and placing mats on correct storage shelves.
Maneuvering full and empty carts.
Maintaining safe and clean work environment, and observing best practices in all production activities.
Other duties as assigned.
