About The Position

Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple shifts, including workforce planning, inventory coordination, procurement support, production scheduling, quality initiatives, and shipping/receiving activities. Communicate clear goals and expectations to department leaders and team members to support overall business objectives. Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, safety, and security policies and procedures. Partner with quality and operations teams to maintain high standards for product and service delivery. Drive operational excellence through process improvements, performance metrics, and adherence to company policies. Lead staffing and workforce planning efforts, partnering with Human Resources to support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and employee engagement initiatives. Manage and develop department leaders and large cross-functional teams in a fast-paced operational environment. Monitor budgets, labor utilization, and operational costs while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements. Serve as a key decision-maker, resolving operational challenges and removing obstacles that impact productivity and service levels. Coach, mentor, and develop employees to strengthen leadership capabilities and support career growth. Encourage employee involvement in identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies. Act as a resource for troubleshooting operational issues and implementing sustainable solutions. Develop, review, and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions. Conduct regular audits and performance reviews to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and operational goals are achieved. Evaluate staffing levels, scheduling, and overtime requirements to effectively support business demands. Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Communicate and reinforce workplace expectations, policies, and procedures. Utilize Lean, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence methodologies to improve business processes. Support compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements as applicable. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required
6+ years of experience leading operations, manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, procurement, or business operations teams.
Demonstrated experience managing large teams, developing leaders, and driving operational performance.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and matrixed environment.
Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proven experience handling employee relations matters, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives in partnership with Human Resources.
Experience leveraging metrics, KPIs, and process improvement methodologies to drive business results.
