About The Position

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 16 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.

Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent and five years related experience; or combination of education and directly related experience.
Possess general knowledge and proficiency in general business and the ability to use computer applications, such as spreadsheets, word processing documents, databases, and email programs.
Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Creativity and innovation for implementation of new programs and employee involvement.
Capability of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to work varied hours be on call and travel occasionally.
Valid driver license

Responsibilities

Oversee daily production operations for the Rotary Furnaces and Deox Casting Line.
Prepare daily profit and loss reports for each rotary run.
Plan production schedules and set priorities to meet customer needs and operational goals.
Adjust production plans based on equipment issues, operating conditions, and demand.
Review production, quality, maintenance, and operating reports to resolve issues.
Use lab data to adjust furnace operations and raw material blends to meet specifications.
Verify inventories of raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Promote a strong safety culture and participate in audits and safety initiatives.
Assist with recruiting by interviewing job applicants.
Maintain production records and verify production data for accuracy.
