We're looking for a driven, hands-on Production Manager to lead operations at our manufacturing facility, reporting directly to the Plant Director. In this role, you'll take ownership of daily plant operations, lead a high-performing team, and drive efficiency, safety, and quality across the board. You'll play a key role in scaling production, improving processes, and building a culture where people thrive and performance excels. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management
  • Proven success leading teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Strong experience with production planning, process improvement, and team leadership
  • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (Black Belt is a plus)
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to workplace safety
  • Track record of improving efficiency, throughput, and overall operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Experience with ERP systems and MS Office (advanced Excel preferred)
  • A collaborative, forward-thinking approach aligned with RS values

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily plant operations and support production scale-up to meet growing demand
  • Develop, coach, and motivate supervisors and production teams
  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety standards
  • Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to ensure product excellence and resolve issues
  • Build an engaged, accountable team through coaching, training, and development
  • Monitor KPIs and production metrics to identify trends and improve performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Supply Chain, R&D, etc.) to support growth and new product launches
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and high-performing facility ready for expansion
