About The Position
Pacific Supply is seeking a Production Manager with management experience and experience in the building products industry. Under the general supervision of the Branch Manager, the position is responsible for the timely and proper shipment and receiving of materials, supervising operations to provide efficient, economical, and reliable customer service, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least two years of supervisory experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in traffic operations; preferred but not required.
- Multi-vehicle scheduling experience; preferred but not required.
- Previous experience with jobsite deliveries; preferred but not required.
- Experience in management and the building products industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide yard personnel with load lists, truck-loading instructions, and delivery sequences.
- Coordinate daily load pre-staging and the following day’s schedules to support speedy truck turnaround times on second and third runs.
- Conduct or supervise cycle counts and physical inventories, and ensure accurate reporting of results.
- Supervise and maintain purchasing and receiving processes established by the Company.
