About The Position

This role is responsible for creating, modifying, and managing production schedules. The Production Manager ensures knowledge of inventory levels, provides production status updates to key individuals, and facilitates timely delivery of products to customers. This position closely monitors the production process to ensure that production orders are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in manufacturing operations.
• 2+ years' experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated experience with project management.
• Demonstrated experience training employees.
• Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring employees on a one-on-one basis as well as in a group.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent team skills and team oriented.
• Excellent time management skills and meets deadlines.
• Flexible; able to multi-task in response to time-sensitive and changing situations.
• Effective listening skills.
• Objective, solution-oriented problem-solving skills.
• Handles highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Resourceful, able to network and connect people to appropriate resources.
• Technology savvy, comfortable using MS software products.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate resources to ensure productivity.
• Oversee employees in the manufacturing team.
• Ensure employees follow standard health and safety guidelines.
• Set production goals and communicate them to appropriate individual(s).
• Provide motivation, support and guidance to employees.
• Communicate problems or obstacles to appropriate individual(s).
• Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.
• Create schedules for employees to ensure staffing levels.
• Other duties as assigned.
