About The Position

The Production Manager is in charge of the day-to-day operations of manufacturing. Responsible for building a high-performing workforce, the effective use of all the manufacturing equipment and the continuous improvement of the material flow throughout the manufacturing facility. Ensure that production goals and quality standards are met. The Production Manager is in charge of implementing the company strategy, vision and mission. The Production Manager is in charge of the development of work area leaders: They have to know each person on the group, stretch people to their capacity, show confidence, set standards that pursuit excellence and provide constant feedback.

Requirements

• A four-year Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree. Six years in Aerospace Manufacturing work experience may be substituted.
• Four years work experience in a management/supervisory role.
• Familiar with a variety of the aerospace manufacturing field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP Applications.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts preferable with a recognized certification.
