About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, bilingual Production Manager to provide leadership and operational direction to our high-volume manufacturing teams. Operating in a fast-paced, make-to-order environment, you will drive strategy and execution across safety, cost management, schedule adherence, employee relations, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Operations, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive manufacturing management experience in a complex, high-demand environment.
  • Prefer Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS, Lean Manufacturing, JIT, SPC, TPM, inventory control, and engineering documentation.
  • Ability to navigate and support a multi-shift, 24/7 operational environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Background or experience in the rubber manufacturing industry.
  • Hands-on experience with MRP and ERP software systems (e.g., Syspro).

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations across multi-shift teams to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) targets.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and focus on on-time, error-free shipments.
  • Maintain a strong, active presence on the shop floor.
  • Flex work schedules across a 24/7 multi-shift operation to engage directly with all team members and navigate production areas.
  • Manage scheduling and resource allocation (staffing, equipment, tooling, technical services) to meet customer demand and optimize performance.
  • Champion Total Process Management (TPM), Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and manage costs.
  • Lead root-cause problem solving and implement corrective actions for any non-conformance issues or operational deficiencies.
  • Drive a safety-first culture in full compliance with company policies, EPA, OSHA, and CAL OSHA standards.
  • Provide ongoing goal setting, training, feedback, and recognition.
  • Build a collaborative, engaged, and diverse team environment.
