About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Autonomous maintenance/ Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt- highly preferred
A minimum of 5-10 years of leadership experience in food production management or a closely related field.
Profound understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the skill to effectively manage and inspire a diverse workforce.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with production management software.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and supervise production staff during assigned shifts.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance feedback.
Ensure daily production schedules are met while maintaining optimal quality standards.
Monitor production processes and make real-time adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency.
Enforce compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and company policies.
Perform regular inspections and audits of production areas to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
Analyze production performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Implement corrective actions and process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Provide training to new hires and ongoing support to existing staff to ensure competency in operational procedures.
Mentor team members to foster a culture of personal and professional development.
Work in conjunction with other departments (e.g., quality assurance, maintenance, logistics) to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare and present shift reports to upper management regarding production outcomes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
