Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, business, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage daily production schedules to ensure timely completion of products
  • Monitor production processes and adjust workflows as needed to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to ensure products meet specifications, materials, and quality standards
  • Partner with internal departments including customer service, purchasing, warehousing, and shipping
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
  • Drive production efficiency and reduce waste through continuous improvement efforts
  • Analyze production data and provide reports to leadership
  • Lead and develop production staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Facilitate daily and weekly production meetings
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies
  • Manage employee performance reviews and corrective action processes
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control processes, and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and environmental requirements
  • Communicate directly with customers, vendors, contractors, and external partners as needed
  • Support employee engagement, morale, and recognition initiatives
  • Implement and maintain best practices for manufacturing processes
