Join the House-Autry family and be part of our exciting future! We are looking for an energetic experienced Production Manager to come lead our second shift team in our NC location. The Production Supervisor is responsible for driving major ready-to-cook/ready-to-eat production goals, meeting scheduling demands, coordinating activities with supporting shifts and departments; training, supervising personnel to achieve the highest levels of performance with a positive work environment. Ensure the highest levels of quality of product is ready in a timely manner for shipping to meet customer needs and expectations. Required hours Monday – Thursday 5p – 3:30a

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 -3 years of supervision/management experience in a food manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Able to lead a team to achieve results.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and troubleshooting instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise 20+ hourly employees on night shift, working 5pm – 3:30am
  • Responsible for ensuring that production output is maximized through planning, utilization of people, and effective management of process and packaging equipment.
  • Responsible for working closely with QA to ensure that quality procedures and GMP’s are followed.
  • Responsible to make sure employees are adequately trained in their areas, understand their responsibilities and are held accountable for their actions.
  • Drive lean initiatives with established KPIs to increase productivity, reduce waste and downtime.
  • Always ensure the highest safety standards for team and company.
  • Drive schedule completion daily with review of all production paperwork and ensure its complete at the end of each shift.
  • Execute all procedures and policies that are put in place to reach company objectives.
  • Responsible for the Housekeeping of the assigned work area.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance, schedule and recordkeeping are followed accordingly.
  • Ensure the highest levels of housekeeping and sanitation is maintained daily.
  • Other duties as assigned.
