This role is responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining fabrication operations to ensure all products meet customer demand, quality standards, and safety expectations. The position will drive long-term strategies to improve operational performance, aligning manufacturing processes with Quality Assurance objectives while supporting Lean and Six Sigma initiatives. This role partners cross-functionally to implement continuous improvement strategies across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in operations or production management in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (certification a plus)
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing change
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing and walking for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to navigate production floors and interact with equipment and teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HVAC manufacturing strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and sustain fabrication and assembly operations to meet production and customer demand
  • Establish and drive long-term strategies to improve quality, safety, and operational performance
  • Align manufacturing operations with Quality Assurance standards and objectives
  • Lead and support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, finance, HR, and sales teams
  • Identify process gaps and implement solutions to improve efficiency, throughput, and product quality
  • Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Lead change management efforts and ensure successful adoption of new processes and initiatives
  • Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing
